The TOURISM CHALLENGE is the Vancouver Coast and Mountains tourism region's annual tradition!
It is our opportunity to re-educate ourselves and enjoy the outstanding attractions and world class hotels, as well as explore the vibrant neighbourhoods and communities that our region has to offer, so that we are ready to welcome our guests, from around the world and SHARE our passion and knowledge of our spectacular region and support our partners in tourism!
REMEMBER, and appreciate, that this is a unique opportunity, no other industry and no other tourism community offers this level of complimentary benefit and savings to their colleagues, any where! We are very fortunate that so many tourism partners step up to provide us with these exceptional benefits!
Please ensure, and protect, the integrity of the program so that it will endure year after year, by following the very simple rules to participate:
FILL in the blanks of your PASSPORT!! Before you arrive INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND COMPANY NAME. SIGN IT!
DON'T GIVE YOUR PASSPORT TO ANYONE ELSE TO USE OR EARN YOUR STAMPS.
Present your PASSPORT and PHOTO ID to the ticket centre, server or host to
receive FREE ADMISSION FOR TWO or a SPECIAL TOURISM CHALLENGE RATE FOR TWO at participating attractions and activity partners, FANTASTIC DEALS at our hotel partner restaurants and spas!
Proof of employment WILL be requested before receiving a benefit.
PARTICIPATE DON’T expect to receive a stamp from an attraction if you are not willing to spend the time and meet their criteria for your stamp, including
Special Deal Attractions. (Participants don't have to spend any money to earn their Privilege Pass there are 70 complimentary Attractions to visit, 16 neighbourhoods, seven Day Out adventures and four "Others" to be explored,
BUT do consider treating yourself and benefit from some of these great offers from our 20 Special Deal experiences or a great meal at one of your 65 hotel patners)
RESPECT your colleagues, treat the front-line staff as you would like to be treated, or as your company expects you to treat your guests.
Participants who don’t respect these guidelines WILL NOT be allowed to receive a Privilege Pass and will not be allowed to participate in future Challenges.
